BOARD TECHNOLOGY
Core: KINETIC (K1.9) Constructed from premium grade 1.9lb density Polypropylene Kinetic Core delivers amazing projection and response .
Stringer: CFT Stringer High-grade, lightweight filament wound composite-fibre tube for increased board strength and spring-like recoil.
Rails: This rail setup leaves less of your rail in the water and offers the rider less contact with the water and therefore better drive and speed throughout all conditions.
Channels: Hover Science Bodyboards latest channel innovation allows the water to flow easily through the nose rocker creating acceleration at take off and through speed transitions. Once planning the water gains speed through the central channel as the board begins to turn water flow is then filtered into the left and right inner channels. The water that is directed straight provides lift in the tail when gliding through sections. When you crank it back on rail the outside channels assist in hold and drive to give you an exceptionally fast and controllable experience
Slick: SURLYN SLICK DuPontTM Surlyn® slick is the finest grade bottom skin for a bodyboard because of it’s rubber like properties, superior recoil and resistance to scratching and wear and tear, hence the reason why Surlyn® is the universal skin used for Golf Balls.
Deck: WAVECUSHION 8lb NXLPE 8pcf non-crosslink Polyethylene outer skins. The premier skin for high performance bodyboarding.
Tail: Stepped Vent Crescent Tail (SVC)Progressive moves require speed and precise timing to a section. The stepped V first optimizes speed during extended bottom turns or speed lines leading into a move and then responds by slightly leaning to engage different angled sections in the tail. The looseness of the tail allows for rapid directional changes to the section and easily breaks free and snaps into rotating moves.
Deck Contour: Dual purpose deck contouring specifically designed to create dedicated flex zones for torsional and nose-to-tail response, integrated with functional handgrip placement.
Slick Nose Bulbs: Raised nose grips shaped into the corners of the Surlyn ergonomically formed for fingertip control.
