Ben Severson Designs (BSD) T30TR is a replica of the Historical T30 shape with a modern twist. 

"The concept of the transitional rail is simple, A curved surface will create less resistance then a flat surface will, thus maximizing speed and maneuverability. The rounded part of the rail creates very little resistance and just about eliminates the spray that comes off of flat rails. The lower bottom rail is beveled to add control. Combined with channels the speed and maneuverability are unmatched. I have been using Transitional Rails for over 25 years in all wave conditions!"
